For boutiques and retailers in the European Union

Italian fashion wholesale for EU stores, with no customs in between

Inside the single market an order from Prato travels like a domestic delivery: no customs declaration, no import duty, and an invoice without Italian VAT when you have a valid EU VAT number. You choose the pieces, we bring every warehouse onto one shipment.

  • No customs, no import duty
  • VAT reverse charge with your VAT number
  • Delivered by road across the EU
  • Same working hours as Italy

Why EU retailers buy through us

Close to Prato, still far from the warehouses

For a shop in Lyon, Munich or Rotterdam, Prato is a short trip away, and yet most of its warehouses stay out of reach. They rarely answer in English, each one sells on its own terms, and a day in the district without an appointment usually ends with a handful of showrooms seen.

Buying from a national wholesaler solves the access but not the rest: the range has been chosen for you, and the price includes another margin.

  • Warehouses that do not reply from abroad
  • A separate invoice for each supplier
  • A range picked by a national wholesaler
  • Time away from the shop for every buying trip

We open the warehouses for you and turn a dozen suppliers into one delivery and one invoice.

Buy little, buy often

Restock every few weeks, not twice a year

With no border to cross, small and frequent orders make sense. Pronto moda warehouses release new styles every week, so you can top up what sold last month and test new lines in a few pieces, instead of committing to a whole season months ahead.

Each session starts from your brief: who your customers are, your price points and the sizes that move. We go to the warehouses that fit it and inspect each garment before it goes in the box.

  • Weekly new arrivals in the district
  • Top-up orders on what is selling
  • Low minimums at most warehouses
  • Every piece checked before packing

Buying inside the EU

VAT, transport and labels within the single market

Goods bought in Italy and delivered to another EU country stay inside the single market: no customs declaration and no duty.

Invoices without Italian VAT

With a valid EU VAT number, checked in the VIES database, we invoice without Italian VAT and you account for VAT in your own country under the reverse charge.

No customs, no duty

Inside the EU there is no import declaration and no customs duty to pay on clothing from Italy.

One delivery by road

Goods from every warehouse go out together by courier as soon as you settle the freight.

Labels in your language

EU rules ask for fibre composition in the language of the country where garments are sold. Prato labels are often multilingual; we check yours before you buy. Labels and packaging.
