For boutiques and clothing shops in Argentina

Italian clothing wholesale for shops in Argentina

Pick Italian-made pieces on a video call, straight from the Prato warehouses. Everything reaches you in a single shipment, on one invoice, with the documents your customs broker (despachante de aduana) asks for.

  • Stock in hand, no pre-orders
  • Sessions during your morning
  • Paperwork for your customs broker
  • Many suppliers, a single invoice

Why Argentine shops buy through us

The imported clothing you want, with fewer hands in between

Italian clothing on sale in Argentina has usually gone through an importer and then a local wholesaler, and both add their margin. Buying at the source makes sense, yet Prato warehouses rarely reply to buyers writing from abroad, and each one wants to be paid separately.

Then comes customs. A formal import needs tidy, consistent documents from Italy, and one mistake on the invoice can leave your goods stuck at Ezeiza or in the port.

  • Importer and wholesaler margins built into the price
  • Suppliers who will not deal with overseas buyers
  • One international transfer for every warehouse
  • Documents that have to match what customs expects

You buy at the source, and your customs broker gets everything they need from us, complete and in order.

Chosen with your customers in mind

Pieces picked for your city and your retail price

A shop in Córdoba does not sell what a shop in Bariloche sells. Before the session we learn who your customer is, the price range you work in and the climate where you are. That tells us which warehouses to visit and what to leave out because it will not sell through.

Import taxes weigh heavily on your final cost, so we judge every piece by the price it will carry in your window.

  • Coats and knitwear for the southern winter

Importing into Argentina

What to prepare for customs

We ship on DAP terms: the courier carries the goods to Argentina, and the importer pays the import duties and taxes.

Importer and customs broker

To import goods for resale, your company must be registered as an importer with ARCA. A customs broker (despachante de aduana) files the entry and handles clearance, so it is worth speaking to one before your first session.

Lower duty since 2025

In 2025 the import duty on clothing came down from 35% to 20%. IVA (Argentine VAT) and other withholdings are added on top, and your customs broker works them out for your tax position.

EU-Mercosur agreement

It has applied provisionally since 1 May 2026 and sets out gradual cuts to duties. Garments that meet the rules of origin could pay less; your customs broker confirms this case by case.

Labels in Spanish

Textile labels in Argentina must be in Spanish and show the composition, the country of origin and the importer’s details. An extra label can be sewn in at Prato. Labels and packaging.
